Digital Scrapbooking
I am fairly new to the digital scrapbooking world. I am creating this book for my grandparents and have had a ton of fun doing so.
There are so many different places to go to start digital scrapbooking. One place I have found is heritagemakers.com. This is where I created my grandparents book at. This place you have to set up an account with but it guides you through the digital process. Another place is shutterfly.com I have not used their services but have heard good things about them.
Another item of this puzzle is scrapbooking software to help you make the pages. For instance I used Photoshop to design my pages. I think there are other programs that will help you with templates so you don’t have to start every page from scratch like I did.
I think one of the last pieces is digital accessories…ie paper, fonts, emblishments, ribbons, tags, brads, brushes etc. There area many places to go to get some of these items online. One place is storytellersclub.com. This site is a members site where they come up with products to download every month. Very cool products by the way. Another place is a newsletter site called scrapgirls.com. They also come up with monthly packages. I highly suggest you try atleast one of these places. They are both wonderful.
In some of my future blogs I will get in to more detail about the design but for now I think this will be enough for you to muddle over for a bit. So stay tuned to this blog for more crafting insights and lessons. Here are a couple of my digital pages. What do you think?
Thanks for reading and Hugs,
